Raptors Roll Out Jumbo Lineup for Friday Night Matchup
Underdog NBA tweeted: 'Lineup alert: Raptors will start Quickley, Barrett, Leonard, Barnes, Poeltl on Friday.'
The are officially rolling out Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett, Leonard, , and Jakob Poeltl to start Friday night's game against the Washington Wizards.
If you had this exact combination of names on your preseason bingo card, you are either a time traveler or you spend way too much time staring at depth charts. It is the kind of lineup that makes you double-check your screen, but it also gives fantasy managers and prop bettors exactly what they need before tip-off.
Barrett has been quietly cooking lately, averaging a clean 20.0 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting a ridiculous 57.1 percent from the floor. When a guy is hitting shots at that clip, you do not ask questions, you just keep feeding him the rock.
Quickley is also coming off a heater where he dropped 23 points and seven assists. The Raptors as a whole are riding the high of a 135-92 absolute dismantling of the Chicago Bulls, which was a nice palate cleanser after giving up 129 points in a loss to the Detroit Pistons earlier in the week.
The inclusion of Poeltl is a massive green light for anyone looking at the paint tonight. He has a history of getting rested on back-to-backs to manage his back, so seeing him locked into the starting five means is ready to throw their full weight around inside.
takes this crew into Washington tonight before heading to face the on Sunday. Keep an eye on how the usage rate shakes out between Quickley and Barrett, because whoever gets the hot hand early is going to ruin someone's parlay.
