Mavericks Unleash Flagg, Risacher, and Irving in Loaded Wednesday Starting Lineup

Underdog NBA reported the lineup alert on X.
The Dallas Mavericks are rolling out a starting five that looks like a 2K MyLeague simulation where the salary cap was turned off. Kyrie Irving, Zaccharie Risacher, Cooper Flagg, P.J. Washington, and Daniel Gafford are getting the nod for Wednesday's matchup.
This is not just a random November rotation shuffle. Dallas is sitting at 4-3 after getting completely dismantled by the Sacramento Kings 115-100 earlier this week. Head coach Jason Kidd is clearly looking for a spark, and throwing two recent top draft picks on the floor with a healthy Irving is certainly a choice.
The real draw here is Flagg. The rookie is already operating like a ten-year veteran, leading the Mavericks with 25.2 points and 6.5 assists per game. Putting him next to Irving gives Dallas a dynamic that is going to be an absolute nightmare for opposing defenses to scheme against.
Then you add Risacher into the mix on the wing, sliding Washington and Gafford to the frontcourt. Washington is pulling down a team-high 7.7 rebounds per game, while Gafford is currently boasting a ridiculous 76.2 true shooting percentage. If Irving or Flagg throw the ball anywhere near the paint, it is probably ending up in the basket.
For anyone staring at player props or setting daily fantasy lineups, this rotation shift changes the entire math. Flagg’s usage is already massive, but sharing the floor with Risacher and Irving means the spacing is going to be wide open, making the prop market for this game highly volatile.
The Mavericks head into San Antonio to face the Spurs next. If this five-man unit clicks immediately, Dallas might have just found the cheat code to fix their sluggish start. If it fails, we get to watch Kidd spin the lineup wheel of fortune all over again on Friday against the Utah Jazz.
