Ian Rapoport reported: '#Dolphins RB De’Von Achane has a knee injury and is questionable to return.'

De' walking to the medical tent with a knee injury is the exact push notification that makes fantasy managers stare blankly into the middle distance.

The Miami Dolphins running back is officially questionable to return against the Kansas City , instantly draining the electricity out of the stadium.

Miami is already trailing 7-0 in a game they desperately need after getting completely dismantled 35-13 by the last week. Losing your most explosive player while trying to keep pace with is a math problem you simply cannot solve.

The timing is objectively terrible for a backfield that was already held together by athletic tape. Fellow running back Jaylen Wright entered the weekend doubtful with a foot issue, meaning the Dolphins are suddenly looking at a depth chart that resembles a preseason fourth-quarter lineup.

Achane has a documented history with knee injuries, having missed multiple weeks in the past for similar issues. For anyone holding live tickets on Miami or banking on Achane's rushing props to hit the over, this is the part where you start mentally writing off the investment.

When Achane is healthy, he breaks the geometry of a football field and makes defensive coordinators look like they are calling plays in slow motion. Without him, the Miami offense suddenly has to grind out yards like a normal football team, which is not exactly their brand.

We will see if he emerges from the tent with his helmet, but given his track record, the medical staff might just hide it. If he is done for the day, the Dolphins have to figure out how to survive a shootout without their human cheat code.
