Bucks Roll Out Chaotic 2K-Style Starting Lineup to Fix Disastrous Start

Lineup alert: Bucks will start Burries, Herro, Jaquez Jr., Kuzma, Turner on Wednesday. (via @UnderdogNBA)
The are officially mashing the panic button, and the result looks like a glitch in the NBA matrix. According to Underdog NBA, Milwaukee is rolling out a Wednesday starting five of Brayden Burries, Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kyle Kuzma, and Myles Turner.
This is the kind of lineup you build in a video game when you turn off the salary cap and just start overriding trades. It is a chaotic mix of shot creation and pure vibes, with absolutely zero regard for traditional roster construction.
For anyone tracking daily fantasy volume or points props, this is a massive green light. Herro and Kuzma are going to absorb all the usage they can physically handle. Throwing Burries into the mix with those two means his only real job is to get the ball across halfcourt and immediately get out of the way.
You cannot really blame Milwaukee for trying something drastic. The are sitting at a miserable 1-5 record and giving up 126.17 points per game, which ranks 28th in the league. They are currently treating transition defense like a mild suggestion.
The recent tape is a horror movie. They just got completely dismantled by the Cleveland Cavaliers 136-111, and before that, the Houston Rockets hung 132 on them. Relying on Turner at the five is a clear mandate to actually protect the rim before the season completely slips away.
Herro is at least holding up his end of the bargain offensively, dropping 21 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier this week. But scoring does not matter when your opponents are running layup drills for 48 minutes.
We will see if this five-man unit has the defensive chops to survive. If Turner can anchor the paint and Jaquez Jr. can glue the perimeter together, this weirdly constructed lineup might just have enough firepower to keep Milwaukee from completely sinking against the Boston on Wednesday night.
