Alex Sarr is officially out for Monday's game with a knee injury, according to Underdog NBA.

At this point, the Washington Wizards' injury report reads less like a basketball roster and more like a medical textbook index. Sarr missing another game means bettors and fantasy managers need to pivot immediately, but it also means the Wizards are down their biggest frontcourt X-factor.

The 21-year-old big man has been collecting ailments like infinity stones since he entered the league. Just looking at his medical history over the last year, he has missed time for issues with his toe, hamstring, groin, ankle, back, and calf. Now, we can go ahead and add the knee to the bingo card.

Washington is already dealing with a roster that looks cursed. Between Bub Carrington trying to shake off a sophomore slump and Cam Whitmore trying to find his footing in the rotation, the last thing head coach Brian Keefe needs is his franchise cornerstone watching from the bench in street clothes.

For anyone holding a ticket on Wizards team totals or Sarr player props, this is your cue to look elsewhere. When he actually plays, he can be an absolute menace—he averaged 2.3 blocks a game during a stretch last March—but you cannot block shots from the trainer's table.

Until Sarr can string together a few months without a new body part acting up, Washington is going to keep sinking in the standings. Expect the Wizards to lean heavier on their bench rotation Monday, while Sarr starts rehabbing whatever joint decides to give out next.
