Breakline may earn a commission on links to operators. Here is exactly what that means.

How Breakline makes money
Breakline costs nothing to read. When you follow a link from a market on this site to a sportsbook and open an account there, that operator may pay Breakline a referral fee. That fee is the whole business model: no paywall, no subscription, no display advertising in the feed.
Some operators we list pay us. Some do not. Both appear on the same pages, priced the same way.
What a commission does not buy
- It does not buy position. Prices are ordered by price. The best number for the bettor is marked as the best number, whether or not that book pays us, and a partner is never highlighted for being a partner.
- It does not buy coverage. A book appears in a market when the API returns a price for it. We do not add a column to flatter a partner, and we do not drop one for pricing badly.
- It does not buy the story. Reporting on this site comes from attributed sources. A commercial relationship has no say in what gets written or how a move is characterised.
Prices move
Every number on Breakline is a snapshot of what an operator was showing when we fetched it. Lines move, markets close, and the price you see at an operator is the price that counts. Check it there before you act on anything here.
Who we list
Breakline links only to operators licensed in the region the reader is in. In Ontario that means operators registered with iGaming Ontario; in Alberta, operators licensed under the province's regulated market. Where we cannot place a reader, we show no operator links at all rather than link to a market they cannot legally use.
Regulated markets
Breakline follows the advertising standards of the jurisdictions it serves, including the Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming in Ontario and the AGLC's standards in Alberta. In those provinces public pages carry no operator incentives of any kind, and this site's copy is checked against that rule before it ships.
