Going into a divisional clash against the without your key defensive pieces is like showing up to a potluck with a bag of ice. You are technically participating, but nobody is intimidated.
Getting Deablo and Ebukam back on the field completely changes the math for the defense. Ebukam brings the edge pressure, while Deablo is there to clean up the middle of the field.
For anyone holding a ticket on the under or sweating a defensive prop, this is the exact news you want to see right before the game starts. A healthy front seven makes life significantly harder for the opposing quarterback.
Now we get to see if the reinforcements actually translate to stops. The Falcons have the bodies on the field, so the only thing left to do is ruin the Saints' night.
